I hear lots of disers talk about a scuba diver at Coral Reef and arranging this ahead of time. What are these people talking about? We are booked at Coral Reef for November. I want to do everything perfect. If there are any secrets I want to know them all!!!:)

Here is a thread that will tell you everything you need to know, including what number to call to set it up: http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1494565

To sum up, you can arrange to have a diver swim up to the tank close to your table and hold up a personalized sign for you family. This is only available at certain times of the day and once the time slots are filled they won't do any more that day.

Also upon request, Coral Reef will make personalized menus for your party with pictures and other info that you submit. Unlike the diver, they can make the menus for you no matter what your ADR time is, as long as you arrange it well enough in advance.

Both services are free! They are both wonderful and the staff at Coral Reef is top notch. I worked with Debbi at Coral Reef to arrange this and she was fantastic. Sooooo nice, I can't even begin to tell you how awesome she is.

We just did this for our Father's Day/Anniversary trip and it was awesome! The diver came by as we were eating our desserts and held up a sign that wished "Happy Father's Day" to my Dad and my Husband from our kids, and "Happy Anniversary" to my husband and myself. We also had the personalized menus made up and Debbie even went to the trouble to make separate ones that said Happy Father's Day for my Dad, Happy Anniversary, for my husband, and Welcome to Walt Disney World **** family for the rest of us.

The whole experience- food, ambience, staff was great. My husband even had the waiter give a ring to me for a Anniversary gift. I took another ring off to see if it would fit that finger and forgot and left the old ring on the table. When we realized it hours later we thought no way will it still be there, but my husband ran back across the park to ask and the manager was holding the ring waiting for us to come back for it.

Now that we are back and into semi-normal life again I have to think of a way to thank Debbie for all of the extra effort she went to for our family. Sending an e-mail doesn't seem like enough.
