We are taking our first trip to Aulani in August and plan to dive while we are there. I'm looking for a recommendation of a dive shop on the island. Last trip, hubby and I dove with Aarons and they were just ok. This time it will be all four of us - 2 adult advanced divers, 1 teen diver and 1 junior diver, both novice divers. I'd love to know if anyone here has a dive shop on Oahu that they like.

TIA!

My Husband and I went to Aulani for the first time last year. My husband is a PADI IDC Staff instructor so he can be picky about his dive shops. He is out of town, but I have emailed him on who you went to last time and the rank of divers you will be traveling with this time. Hopefully he will get back to me soon with good news and not the same people you went to. I hope this helps.

Thank you so much! I'm looking forward to hearing what he has to say. Aaron's was just ok. Not great service and they dropped us in one dive spot that they shouldn't have. The current was so bad we had to bascially abort the dive but they knew it was bad when we went in.

So my husband emailed me the name of he dive shop, but when I went to look it up to give you all of the contact information I guess it went out of business a few months ago. However, I emailed my husband back and he gave me another PADI Dive Center that looks very close to Aulani as well. I don't know if you do this already when you travel, but my husband makes a point to try to book everything ahead of time or at least make contact with the dive shop. You can let them know the levels of the certifications of the divers so maybe there is a chance of having a dive more along you level. I know sometimes it does not work out that way but at least it is worth a try right?

There name is: Hawaii Nautical 808-234-7245

Hope this helps.
