My DS is at WDW right now and is very upset. He is a BIG Scrooge McDuck fan and so far the only thing he was able to find with Uncle Scrooge was a pin. Does anyone know Where he might find something (anything) with Uncle Scrooge either at the parks or DTD. Please help he will be there till Wed.

THANK YOU

Scrooge is my ds' favorite character. We couldn't find any good Scrooge stuff anywhere. I hope you have better luck than we did! Please post if you find something and where you found it.

I wish we could see Scrooge, but I don't think he gets out much. We are going to MNSSHP in Sept. and I'm hoping we'll spot him then.

I don't think he's a character you can get an autograph for.

You can get his autograph but you are going to have to go to MNSSHP or MVMCP to meet him. As far as i know he is a very hard character to find! :guilty:

There was a thread on here just the other day (posted by AngieBelle, I think) that said Scrooge will be making appearances in Toontown soon.

We met him and got his autograph on Christmas Day 2002. His handler at that time told us he was only appearing on that ONE day, but he has been sighted at the special hard ticket parties since then.

We saw Scrooge's picture on chocolate coins at the Philharmagic store, and on the Magical Express movie- and nowhere else.

I too love Scrooge McDuck, and the only thing I've found in all my trips has been a pin here and there. Disney Store website had sold 2 different snow globes, but they're no more (the first one was the neat one, IMO).

On a positive note though, DuckTales Volume 1 is out on DVD and can be found in various stores in WDW (I first saw the day it came out in an MGM store and literally squealed "It's on DVD!!!! I have to have that!" :rotfl2: ) and in your every day store like Target. No better way to get a Scrooge fix than that. :thumbsup2

Sorry.
I do not know where to find Uncle Scrooge mechandise or the Character at the Park, but I wanted to add that the Sing-A-Long Video The Twelve Days of Christmas--even has Uncle Scrooge and Huey Dewy and Louie. (these are the Characters not cartoons.

I used the Sing-Along videos to help my grandson learn how big the Disney Characters really are.

My (now 4 ) year old grandson (he is autistic and SID ) and I love watching the Disneyland Fun Sing-A-Long.
We stared watching them when he was about 2.

Other Sing-a-longs with the Real Disney characters (not cartoon) are:

Campout at Walt Disney World--Includes Fort Wilderness and the original Discovery Island.

Beach Party--Takes place at TL BB and some beaches -- It has a luau at the poly with Minnie and the gang and even has a nice part with Ariel in it.
Also a part on the pirate ship. Alex loves it when Captain Hook and Peter pan have a duel and Captain hook falls over the side of the ship into the water!
Flik's Musical Adventure takes place at the Animal Kingdom. Flik is the ant in TTBB. Mickey and Minnie have some small parts in it but Flik is the host.

Alex's favorite one is Happy Haunting.
It is a Halloween party at the HM in Disney complete with Trick or Treating in Toon Town.

He loves that one. So we took him and his mom (dd )and dad (dsil)
to MNSSHP last October for his first Disney Trip.
He loved the party..

Have fun at Disney!

We met Uncle Scrooge at MVMCP last year!

I couldn't believe it!! Of course I had to get a picture so I could share it with the kids (who opted to stay at the hotel for last years party)

I too read Angiebelle's thread and she is someone who is in the know. It sounds like Scrooge is making the rounds right now so I would definitely check w/a CM to see where he might be during your stay. My kids are interested in meeting him too so we'll be on the lookout on our next trip.

All I have ever seen besides pins, is stuff one & a bank. Oh and some very expensive figures & Lithos.
