Does anyone purchase gift cards for another location, like Giant with a higher percentage, to then purchase Disney gift cards to pay off their trip?
We split the profit with our school so Disney gift cards don't give us a lot of bang for our buck?
Anyone have success?

Huh, I never thought of that. I will have to see if any of our local stores carry disney cards. Through our SCRIP program disney cards are only 2%, so we only get 1% after splitting with the school.

I would think it would work for you. Another option is buying disney gift cards using the target debit card to get 5% off.

Thanks for the idea :)

I do. But it only works out better than Target for me because I buy them from our King Soopers (Kroger chain) and only buy them when I get 4x the fuel rewards on gift cards. So between the SCRIP discount and the fuel rewards, it is better than 5% off at Target.

I was just signing up for the SCRIP program and the manager at the school told me that she has a family that regularly buys Lands End gift cards, with 18%, takes them to Kmart, and since Kmart accepts Lands End cards, uses them to buy Olive Garden gift cards for dinner. I guess it works for them.

Thanks for the replies. I am headed today to see if I can switch the cards. Every little bit helps!

Our Giant Eagle(grocery) pays 5%(we get half back) so I buy them from the school, then take to GE and buy the Disney and get the fuel perks. I try to go when it is double fuelperks.... got:thumbsup2 3-4 tanks of gas for free buying cards for our cruise.
