Screen Name

kab= my initials
407= my birthday (not the Disney area code as some thought)

Yea, I'm another one missing the creative gene.

This is a very cool thread.

When I was growing up my father's nickname was Moon, taken from the cartoon strip Moon Mullins. My friends started calling me Big Moon and my younger brother Little Moon. My nickname has stuck for the most part throughout the years.

Mark

Real name is Tonya... I got the nick name at work when I over heard a little girl call mannequins Honey Bunny's. It was just so adorable and the name stuck for me. I spell it the way Pooh would though, Hunny.

Love this post, great idea! :butterfly

mikelan6 = Mike (as a nickname for Michael) Lan (part of my last name) 6 (1 through 5) were taken.

Now, Michael is my "official" name as it appears on my passport, but is not my true legal name.

My legal name given to me at birth was Mendel - a nice Yiddish name, but I didn't like that, so when I became a citizen, I added Michael as my first name and kept Mendel (named after my grandfather) as a middle name.

Now, you might be asking why the difference between "official" and "legal" names? When I tried to become a US citizen (I was born in Peru), I was unaware that I was automatically a US citizen as my parents became citizens when I was under age, I did not have to go before a judge ... all I had to do was apply for a certificate. Michael is only listed on the back as an AKA!

I hope I didn't bore you all with all the info.

My name is Jeremy and growing up there were a couple of kids that could not say my name correctly. They said "Jerme". The 81 in my screen name is the year I was born. JERME81 has also has been on my license plate since I was 16.

This is also my 100th post!! :yay:

Congrats on post #100!!!

My real name is Mary.

My screen name comes from my love of Port Orleans Riverside (which is obvious from my sig) was originally called Dixie Landings - oh and I'm a girl so hence, dixiegirl. :hippie:

My given name is Barry. The first movie my wife (then girlfriend) and I went to see together was The Lion King, and I thought Rafiki was just about the coolest character I'd seen in any movie. Part Shaman, part philosopher, and a kung-fu master to boot.
And despite it being April when I created my screen name after lurking for quite a while it was (to borrow a phrase from Grumpy Old Men) "butt-cold outside." Thus, FreezinRafiki.

And the translation in the signature is a pure guess based on some Google searching. If anyone actually speaks Swahili, please correct any grammar mistakes you may find in it.

Hi my name is Brent. My screen name is a combo of some letters of my last name and some from my first name.

Hi everyone!

My real name is Katie. I chose DWGal (short for Disney World Gal) for obvious reasons  and 210 is in reference to my birthday, which is February 10th.

This is a neat idea! I like finding out about the people behind the screen names. :thumbsup2

My real name is Scott

insoin comes from where I used to live. IN SOuthern INdiana. I have had that s/n for years. Back when a lot of the s/n I saw were based upon where you lived. So... I picked that. But now I live in Kentucky. But innoky does not sound as cool. :rotfl:

Nothing exciting for me. hideeh = my first name Heidi and the first initial of my maiden name which also happens to be the same for my married name. Hedges. I did not get hit with the creative or athletic stick.

I use this Screen Name on other boards, so I just kept it the same here as well.

It just needs to be Kyana or Indy-ucky. (as you can note from my local, I live in the Louisville Metro area, too.

I definitely win the award for least creative!!!

Mine is my old initials, when I signed up it was to get information only. I had no idea I would start to post, and absolutely no idea how much the DIS would change my entire life!!!

T M L were my maiden name initials, my first husbands last name started with an I .... therefore TMLI was what I used. My tag says wants to be known as tmlh because H is my current last name from my current and final husband  I don't want to change it because I don't want to lose my post count.

Todd, I am so glad you posted. Chris and I have discussed your name mor ethan once and what it could mean!!!

Forgot to say my real name is Tracey!!

My name is Mary.

I picked maroo because that is what my friends call me!

So feel free to call me Maroo or Mary. :goodvibes

and this is a great idea for a thread...

I wonder if we can start a list that can be updated? :confused3 I need a reference! I was going to make a spreadsheet. :sad2:

My name is Kelli.
My username is also my email address. Starr was the name of my dog growing up and I have "collected" stars ever since. Tigger is one of my favorite Disney characters, but when I created my email address I didn't want any numbers in it, so I removed the vowels and added the extra R in tggrr to match the extra R in starr!

My husband's username is obi_mic. This is also his email, obiviously he Loves star wars, and his first name is Mic.

My name is Ron. My screen name was chosen for the fact I love Space Mountain and i am a Huge fan of this classic attraction since my first visit to Disney World in 1981.
