Park News - (10/8/01) More than one angry Cast Member have sent in this news today. It seems that the previously scheduled return of Fantasmic! on November 12 has been scrapped and they are now not planning on returning Fantasmic! to the park guests until June 2002. We know the crowds are less than normal at the parks, but why is it they are giving the public one less reason to come back and visit? Please do let Disneyland know you opinion of this decision and perhaps the show will return as scheduled for the Holidays. Fantasmic! is not the only show affected it seems... we are told that Steps in Time (DCA), Eureka (DCA) and Animazement (DL) will all shut down on Oct 20th.

Park News - (10/8/01) We are told that Steps in Time and the Eureka parade will both have their final performances on Oct 20th.

Excuse me? Less than normal crowds? Disneyland was PACKED this weekend, and I know for a fact that they met crowd projections at BOTH Disneyland and DCA.

Shame on Disney if this is true.

The real reason Disney may be doing this is because "Luminaria" the new Night time show for California Adventure will premiere around the time Fantasmic! was to return. Since Disney wants everybody to go back to DCA, they are cancelling the return of Fantasmic! for awhile till the show ends (Christmas Show).
