Maybe even aquafor...My sister had very dry skin and we had to lotion her up in aquafor.. I don't know how many times she was so slicked up she'd slide right out of our hands!

Actually those are the two we have tried. They seem to work for a little while but it comes right back. I'm not sure what they will say as there is only so much I can lotion him and I'm not sure how the daycare would deal with it while he's there. Now DH is lotioning him in the morning and then I do it when we get home and again before bed but its still there.

He's so lovely! And I love those pages.

DS(8) had dry skin and the Dr gave us Diprobase. He's more or less grown out of it now, but sometimes there's an odd patch (liKe he had a big graze and it left dry skin behind when it healed) and I put that on. Or E45, both the bath stuff and the creams were brilliant - I'm not sure if you have them over there.

Well we are home. Dr said to try an otc hydro-cortisone cream first and see if that helps. He also said to just keep using the lotions and just the cortisone twice a day but if that doesn't seem to help to come back. They don't really want to give us anything stronger if they don't have to. So well see. The other thing to possible try is a soy formula since it seems to have gotten worse since he went on to just formula when I went back to work. I think we'll try the cream first and if that doesn't help try the soy milk and call them back.

we had the same problem with our son. The doctor also prescribed the cream, but when we went to get it the pharmacist said you have to be VERY careful with it-it thins out their skin or something icky. So we ended up just using (I think it was called) Baby Naturals excema cream-and it worked well. And it was a super thick cream so he wasnt all slippery slimey either He also has grown out of it now, but the cream we used was meant for babies and we really liked it-hope that helps

I'll have to check that out. We havne't got the cream yet but he said to only use it when he has a bad break out like he does now. Just use regular lotion when its just a little break out.

ds had the same thing. we tried all kinds of creams,lotions etc. the dr finally mentioned the switching of formula to soy and it worked for us. he has the occasional dry spot now, but nothing like it was.

I finally have used my first swap items on this board. Now that I am done with my current swaps I have time to work on my pages. I have started an autograph album for me when my DH and I go down to celebrate our 4th anniversary.Thirty Seven and I want autographs and pics of us with the characters.... what a hoot. Its a short trip...no kids and one day set aside for MGM.

I got some pages done today from the day trip 10 days ago when I took DS and his girlfriend to the Magic Kingdom.

On this page I used: a photomat from MickeyTeacher in the MK Swap, and the tag and journal box (which I converted into a small photomat) from New England Eeyore in a Surprise Swap last year.

On this page I used: the Tinkerbell card w/ribbon from a Surprise Swap last year (I don't know who made it), and the Tinkerbell embellishment from MickeyTeacher in the MK Swap.

On this page I used: 2 Piglet tags from Believen in the Tag Swap as well as the back from one of the tags (I separated it from the back so I could use it as a journal box).

On this page I used: 2 Tigger tags from SIOH in the Tag Swap, and my 2 Eeyore tags from the Tag Swap. I removed the backs of the tags so that I can use them on future pages as either journal boxes or tiny photo mats.

Thanks for making such great items, they are fun to use!!!
