Scrapping with Swapped Items Challenge rlovew is the winner

Here are a few more from my Pirate and Princess Party pictures.

This is one with pictures of me in different areas where you could be the princess in the pictures. Most of the items are from the page kit from the Princess pavillion. The journal box is made from 2 papers I got from the Spring secret sister swap.

This next one is using the parade page kit from the swap. I had so many pictures from the parade I divided them into sections based on the characters in the section so these are the Sleeping Beauty pictures. I just added a piece of bling paper for me journaling since I used the journaling box for a picture.

The next one is using the Jasmine Court page kit. I didn't take any pictures in that area so I used the kit to show the Jamine parade pictures. The only thing I added was the journalling tag from my Spring Secret Sister.

This last one is the Peter Pan section of the parade using some of the New Tortuga Pirate elements. I made the photo mats except for the little one at the top with tinkerbell on it. That is a journaling box from the kits. The tags and square are also from the swap.

I would just hgave to say that having everything in little kits like this makes it so easy to complete my pages. Thanks for all the work you all put into the swap.

FOUR more for rlovew!

They all look great.
You are really doing a wonderful job.

Come on everyone else, don't let her have all the fun!!

Just found this challenge thread today. What I great idea. I'm glad I re-read the OP, because I was thinking tomorrow, June 13 was the deadline. I think I'll give this challenge a try since I have another whole month (and some really neat swap stuff to use).

How cool it was to scroll down the thread and see that someone liked and used something I had made. Nice layout, Faerie!

I guess this means I'll have to figure out how to post a picture so I can join in the fun. It sounds like a lot of you use photobucket? Is it easy? What does it take?

I loved those items happycampers. My BF commented how cool they were when I opened the package too :)

Photobucket is a breeze. Register, upload from your computer and copy the link that has

I have posted pictures of the completed Matchbook.
I used the tags that came with it and used hardware, ribbon & fiber that was from swaps.

Okay- here are 3 I did this morning.

The Huanted Mansion- all the items are from various swaps except the journal block.

These are 2 pages using my Tower of Terror elements. Most of my journaling is inside of the file folder. I added the ribbon and the photo mats but the other elements are all from that swap.

Hope you all enjoy.

Wow! The ToT Element Page Kit stuff looks great together! Nice job using all of those. Love the pages!

It was so easy to put that page together with those elements. It was my first Brazill swap and i can see how having us use the same colors made such a difference in completing the page.

You did a wonderful job with it. Now how is your own scrapping going- have you gotten started on your books yet or are you just working on things for others. I seem to remember that your goal this month was to do some of your own things.:cheer2:

I used my first swap item today on a Sleeping Beauty page. I'll post pics when I get back from Cedar Point this weekend.

Neat layout. I really like how the cat almost disappears (just like he is supposed to.)
Will update the OP.

Isn't it cool to see your swap items on someone's page? :thumbsup2

I got more of my Pirate and Princess Party scrapped. I love having swapped items, but I realized that I am out of princess stuff as far as I can tell and need another character swap for them sometime. I can't figure out when I used them all up but i also can't find them anywhere. On to the pictures.

The photo mat at the top and the tag are both from the Pirate and princess swap, the sticker in the middle is from the Pirate swap last fall. I made the other mats to match the one from the swap.

This is the matching page to the last, I did the photo mats to match, the shaker boxes and the tag (I added the Pirates part) are from the Pirate and Princess swap and the stickers are from the Pirate swap.

Another float in the Parade the 2 mats on this page are both from the Pirate and Princess Swap (Emily Rivera pieces). The square is another Pirate and Princess swap piece and the tag is from the Pirate Swap last fall.

http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/rlovew/PirateParade4.jpg This is the matching page for the last one. I made the mats to match the ones Emily had made. The tag and flag in the middle are both from the pirate swap last fall.

http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/rlovew/ArielParade.jpg This is the Parade element pieces (Michellepooh's I think) along with the journal box from the Nemo swap (I changed out the orange ribbon for the fiber) and sqaures from that swap too. The bottom mat I made and added a piece from the element swap onto it to make it fit in with the page better.

Enjoy and keep up the work on your pages everyone. These swap items sure make it easy to do.

This is a fun challenge...I am enjoying seeing everyones work put to use and getting great ideas and motivation all at once!:cool1:

Wow rlovew, you are on a roll.

Do you think we should set a cap on how many times a name can go in the jar?

I'm just afraid others might not scrap if they see one person has so many more pages done.

I don't care if you put a cap on it. I would like to see others work and don't want to discourage them but would rather inspire them to get out those items and scrap.

Over half of what I scrap use swaps items. In fact most of what I scrap uses swap items although sometimes they are from another board I swap on. Also most of what I scrap is Disney and I have been in so many Disney swaps that I have lots of items to use. Also I spend more time on my swap items as it seems other people tend to do too so many times those look better on a page than something I do myself.

Maybe a limit of 10-15... sometimes you just get on a roll...
I personally am using Rebecca as inspiration...so the more she posts the more I want to go downstairs and work...but kids are getting in the way of my scrap time right now....
which speaking of kids.. I need to go get them from the park program..
Ta-ta!
Have a great day everyone!
I'll try to check in tonight... DH is working from home..and his wireless laptop is giving him grief and he is holding my computer hostage..when there is work to be done!
