Thanks for the info, I'll have to set my VCR for some of those times!

I've got my TiVo all set plus I am going to watch shows when I am awake. Some are on a bit too early in the morning for me LOL.... I can't wait...

good thing I posted this -
I forgot about it til I got the e-mail - lol
I'm turning my bedroom tv on that channel now - so I don't forget again!

I was watching the stuff I recorded at 2 am this morning. Does anyone have the perfect layers tools? Do you recommend it? I really like that you could layer tags and other odd shapes that I would never do with my Carl cutter. Is it a good value?

Thanks,
Tina

*CRY!*
:guilty: We don't get that channel here :(

Cass just think of the $$$ your are saving. LOL

Laura
A  scrapaholic

I love it!

I don't use it as much as I should, because I once cut my finger with a CM blade at a crop, and it took forever to stop the bleeding! Anyway...DH prefers I not use REALLY SHARP tools at crops, and that is where I get most of my work done.

However, if you crop at home, or are not a clutz, it is great. It mats so wonderfully! It would be perfect for swaps.

Happy Shopping! I am still looking for the one item I can't live without. I know it is there...it always is!

I have it. I really like it for matting things with straight edges. It took me a little practice to figure out how to keep the "ruler" from slipping, and I still have a hard time using it with thin paper. But all in all I think it's a great tool.

(I actually use the cutting mat more than anything.)

You can always shop QVC.com. I don't know if that will help you or not, Cass...but it is how I do most of my craft day shopping.

Go to the website, then click 24 hour product review. It is in the top left corner.

There you will find the different shows that have been on today, and can see what products they have. If they are sold out, but wait list...order them anyway! It usually comes in pretty quickly (well...except for the perfect matter...that took a couple of months). They don't charge you until it ships, and you get the sale price.

You can also watch video of whatever is on now, if you actually want to see the show. Not too bad, and I have dial-up!

Well since last nite I have ordered 4 things..trying to leave the house not to order anymore! My list is this:memories in minutes 1600pc simple scrapbook kit=35.18, coluzze cutting system w/swivel knife & templates=38.50,192 piece rivet embellishment kit=26.13, and thank God for the waitlist, this & that 466pc titles, tags & things =28.27..I think I did pretty good resisted the Brenda Walton kit it was so beautiful but I had to stop..did all this on QVC.com and had it all shipped to my work address cause you all know about the husband thing..he just finished making a scrapbook room for me and I really need him to build the shelves for all my paper so I will say "oh no I had that such a long time" when the new things start showing up..LOL GOING IN THE SHOWER NOW TO GET DRESSED AND GET THE HECK OUT OF HERE..Have fun Marianne :wave2:

Anyone else disappointed in the scraping stuff. They pretty much were selling things from last year. NOt very many new things and the new things went in like 2 minutes. Hopefully, they figured it out. They even had a scrapbook set I bought over a year ago on the show. Oh, well....

I ended up buying things though. I bought the Perfect layers tool, the colorblocking paper both colors and solid cardstock... The last show is on in 15 minutes hopefully, I won't buy anything more.

What did everyone else buy?

Tina

I got the 95 Piece Write 'n' Rub Foil Scrapbooking Kit and the Timeless Treasures Set of 18 Handmade Textured Papers. There were a few other things I waffled on and decided against, mostly because they sold out before I could make up my mind.

I went online and bought the Bradletz set they didn't even show all day!

I did order that 1600 piece set - although I am not really sure why I did - as I use CM albums and won't use the two albums!

I really wanted that dang sewing machine - I should have just bought it! But I think DH would think I have really gone too far if I spent $200 on it basically for scrapping purposes - lol! I would TRY to make curtains or pillows although I haven't sewed since Jr High when I made a stuffed frog! :)

:rotfl: I was thinking the same thing. But I already have a sewing machine that I rarely use - although I did make Mr. & Mrs. Potatohead costumes a few years ago. I just liked all the cool stitches they showed it could do. And if I'm honest with myself, I'd probably use it once or twice for scrapping then put it away in the closet, hardly to be seen again. So I resisted and it sold out.

:hyper: :hyper: great minds think alike RRBB
I woke up this morning thinkin oh crap I should have skipped the scrap crap and just bought the sewing machine...
then I told my MIL I almost bought it and she brough me back to reality -
