I haven't seen this posted but there are 2 scrapbooking series mysteries out there that I'd reccomend to scrapbookers.

Laura Childs Series based in New Orleans is an excellent series with tons of scrapbooking tips in each book and Joanna Campbell Slan's series based in St. Louis is great as well.

Are those the crop sissors and die books? if so, I heard they were fun, easy reads.

that the name. Have you read them? are they any good? mystery books right? my friend who read them said they fun. of course she has yet to lend them to me :rotfl:

I read them yesterday and they are excellent reads. I totally recommend them. But call the bookstore first to see if they carry them. I ordered mine online from Barnes and Noble, but when I went into the store for Easter books, they didn't have any of them and weren't carrying them.

I read the Joanna Slan books. I don't normally like mysteries, but I did get a kick out of them being set in the scrapbooking world and I really enjoyed them. I'll have to check out the other author!

I've not read Slan but I like Laura Child. She also has a tea shop mystery series and since I collect teapots as well as scrapbook, I enjoy her all of her books.

I'll have to look for Slan next trip to the library.

I've really enjoyed Slan's journaling books, so jumped right on the mysteries. They're fun - but like all fiction - I can't remember a THING about them, lol.

I didn't care for Laura Childs scrapbooking series, but I like the tea shop ones.
My online mystery book group has been reading the Joanna Slan scrapbook series. I have enjoyed these--it's fun to read about undo and cropper hoppers! The third book, Photo,Snap,Shot is due out May 1.

I have read several Laura Childs books and they're pretty good reads. I like the Tea Shop series better than the scrapbook series, but I scrapbook and don't drink tea :confused3 Maybe it's the characters?

I'll have to check out the other author. Thanks for the recommendation.

Maybe one would be good to give a certain mother I know ;) as one of her Mother's Day gifts.
