I just returned and have over great pictures. I do scrapbooking but have not idea how i'm going to work with all these pictures. Are they any digital programs instead of doing traditional scrapbooking? It seems like soooooo many supplies i'm going to have to buy. Or....any sites that do a photo book in Disney World themes where all i ahve to do is upload my pics and place them? thanks!!

There is a program at the photo pass website that you can choose the amount of pages you want to use, the amount of pictures on the pages, and even different backgrounds to use. It's pretty user friendly and you can upload your own photos, it does not have to be ones from the photopass system. Good luck to you!

My friend made one of these and it came out great, although there is nothing like a hand-made paper scrapbook page. I'm in the process of doing layouts from our last trip and then I have the 2 before that to start on. I agree that it is rather overwhelming, but it's fun!

I have friends that have used both shutterfly and the kodak gallery to make awesome photo books. Everything is done through the websites and they come out really nice.

I didn't know if you knew, but there is a whole scrapbooking board here, so they might be able to help you more. I haven't been over there in a while, but they are all very nice!

I am a traditional scrapbooker, but I found that my Disney trips would take me about 8-9 months to scrap and I never got a chance to scrap anything else :rotfl: Plus, I like instant gratification and wanted to show my photos off quickly... I used Shutterfly the last 2 years and made 12 x 12 albums both times. They came out AWESOME!!!! :o) You can also stack codes for discounts on shutterfly when they're available by finding them at retailmenot.com and naughtycodes.com....

Good luck! :)

No, there's no Disney themes, but I worked with what they had and everyone is blown away by the books :thumbsup2 They have so many different backgrounds to choose and picture layouts that the possibilities are endless! If you'd like to see mine, PM me your email address and I can send the shutterfly book thing to you I think.... :)

For our most recent trip we used photopass to make a scrapbook- I absolutely love how it came out, but I also just used snapfish to make a scrapbook for my student teacher- it looks amazing and so professional. Although they don't have any disney backgrounds on snapfish, I plan to use them for our next disney scrapbook, the quality is far surpasses the photopass books.

I usually use shutterfly for my pictures, calendars and photo books ,but they don't have any disney themed books. So...i'm tempted to use the photopass site as some of you have suggested, i'm just concerned about the quality because it IS quite pricey. For those of you who have used photopass for books, how was the quality? thanks!

I bought the leather covered book. It is made by the same company that makes many yearbooks. I don't have it in front of me...it's at work as I ws showing it to a parent who just went. I thought the quality was great. It cost me around $80 2 years ago. I got the basic book, paid extra to use their photos from my photopass, and added 2 pages to the basic book. I think there is a less expensive cover available now and if you bought the photopass, you won't pay to use them once you get your cd.
The pages are a glossy, better paper. I think it was worth the money, for sure!

I'm a diehard scrapbooker and for our 2004 trip to WDW I ended up with 3 12 x 12 scrapbooks and for this past June's trip it will probably be about the same maybe more since we also went to Universal :scared1: .

I use lots of photos, embellishments (charms, pressed pennies, ribbons, etc) and usually do two-page spreads. You can go to the scrapbooking section here and see some great layouts and also go to www.twopeasinabucket.com under the gallery section and you can search there as well. You can use those as guides.

I'm not into digital scrapbooking, mainly because this is my hobby and I enjoy closing the door to my scrap room, working on layouts, putting them into albums - it's my stress release. I've seen some beautiful digital scrapbooks but it's not my thing!
