A tornado just passed over our house... we peeked from the basement window, it was an awsome sight. We are safe and our home was not damaged (though it is covered in bits of insulation and vegatation).

The pictures of loss are coming in and they are devastating.

I am finding many pieces of paper in our yard. The most touching is a birth announcement from 1958. I'll bet I can find where it belongs, but what can I do to it RIGHT NOW to best preserve it? It's gotten wet and is muddy.

Any ideas are appreciated.

You may also want to post this on the scrapbooking board. You are so kind to want to do this.

I am moving this to the scrap book forum where you will get expert advice, from the DIS scarpbook experts :)

What thoughtful thing to do, Ronda, you are going to make someone very happy.

I am no expert in this type of thing, sorry.
