I was wondering if they have any scrap booking stuff on the cruise??

Do they have a DCL scrapbook, or stickers, and other supplies?

yes, they do sell some Scrapbook Materials on the ship. The Last Cruise I did see a lot but things specific to the cruise which was nice. They also sell some things at the Disney stores.

Hope you have a great cruise.

Creative Memories has some nice Disney/Cruise stuff. I bought the combo packs for Mickey and Freinds, Pooh and "tropical" along with some cruise stickers. I used them for the scrapbook I just completed for our Land and Sea trip last Dec and they all worked out well.

That being said, I will definitely buy whatever they have on board while we are on our next eastern. I am hoping they have stickers that replicate the Magic. . . .the ship in the CM pack just wasn't the same!

BTW, I only just started scrapbooking about a month ago. Poor DH will have to take on a second job because I am totally addicted:smooth: :smooth: :smooth: :smooth:

I just listed some of my Disney scrapbook stuff on Ebay. Do a search under Disney Scrapbook and see what you find. There is a ton of stuff on ebay right now. :)

I also read on the Scrapbook board that there is going to be a Scrapbook store at DT Disney - not sure what the opening date was supposed to be, though.

Another good source of Disney scrapbook stuff is Sandylion. They have the license for most things Disney.

Also if your local scrapbook store carries Kreative Kuts they just added a great cut out logo for the cruise line. So far I've only seen it in black though.

PiperG - I totally sympathize with you there - I started about 4 years ago doing a "simple" book on our first land/sea. Swore I wasn't going to get as caught up in it as some people I'd seen - after all who has time to do that with all of their pics?

Well I now have an entire room dedicated to scrapbooking. Officially it is still the guest room but if any guests show up I'll need a month to move all of my rolling drawers!

I had to add my 2 cents worth, you are discussing my 2 favorite things. Disney and Scrapbooking (I have been a CMC for 4 years)!

Tip: Get memrobilia in 3's. One for the front, one for the back and one for in the pocket page. For example: The personal navigator, park maps etc. You don't want to leave anything out and its better to have too many than not enough! Also Pack a "Craft Keeper" to hold the memroblia and keep it all together. It is a Large waterproof plastic envelope with a string tie. You can get it from the local craft store.

Our first disney cruise is in less than 3 weeks (Oct 27th Wonder) and I am so excited!

I'm currently at WDW and there is scrapbooking stuff EVERYWHERE! At least 5 different types of books in both standard square and the rectangular types, cutouts, sticker sheets, lots too many to mention. They are gearing up for something.

My last cruise was 12/8/01 and I'm still working on the scrapbook!!! I got a great cut out postcard of the Magic and saved all of my trading cards and navigators. The book is looking pretty sharp if I do say so myself. We used Disney stationary to get our autographs from the character signing....the cruise is an excellent source for scrapbooking!!!:jester:

That is a great idea! We were on the Wonder in Dec '01 and I saved the little cards with Captain Mickey and the Mickey Pool, along with a luggage tag, navigators and a postcard of Peter Pan, Wendy and Tink flying over the ship. Character autographs will be a great addition for my next book. As noted in my earlier post, I am completely addicted to scrapbooking. I just bought a ton of CM stuff and will start work on a book with a different theme (the family farm). DS5 had made many, many trips there since infancy and we have some great pics with family.

We're leaving on Sun for a 4 day cruise - I want to do a scrapbook when I get back. I have a catalog "Paper Wishes" that has Disney pages of thing and backgrounds etc. They have a website - www.paperwishes.com

I'm glad there is more Available

Well Now I don't have to worry what I can spend my Money on - HAHAHAHA

ellyzma,

I am on the 10/27 cruise too!! Less than 3 weeks now!!! WooHoo!!!

I bought the DCL scrapbook kit while on board for my very first scrapbook ever. Now that I've started it, I realize it's too small. The pages are only 8 1/2 X 11. Not nearly enough room to put all your stuff. :)

Queenvic- Details please. How much was your DCL scrapbooking kit and what came in it? I am always on the lookout for scrapbooking supplies.

Also - Mat the 8 1/2" x 11 paper on 12 x 12 for more space for all the pictures!

Good luck

Having a scrapbooking class would be a great cruise activity for onboard the ship. They had a really cool gingerbread house making class when I went last Dec. A scrapbooking class would be really cool...

Hmmm, anyone have the cruise director's number?

Ellyzma,

The kit came with an album which has Mickey & the gang on outside and says ' Disney Cruise Line 2002.' Inside is a package of solid colored paper (I'm not sure how many pages), some page protectors, a couple of sheets of DCL stickers and some punch outs (frames, Mickey, etc). I think it was about $25. If I was at home I could tell you more. I really like the kit. My only gripe is that it's so small that you can't get very much on each page. I'll get a 12 X 12 next time. They don' sell 12 X 12s on the ship though.

Hope this helps! :)

Do they just sell the DCL stickers separately? How about the paper cut outs, and paper separately? In the parks you can get that stuff without buying a book... I already have a scrapbook, I just want the goodies..:p

Queenvic-
All info is a big help...
My problem is (as a CM consultant and obsessed scrapbooker) I only use CM albums (they are by far the best both value and quality) so I don't need the album and page protectors... I just want the paper, die cuts and stickers. I wonder if they will have something like that for me to buy in 2 weeks... If not I will just buy a whole bunch of postcards...

Disneygator-
I would love to scrapbook on the cruise... My problem is toting all my stuff with me on the cruise. I have a whole room in my house dedicated to scrapbooking and I am sure the cabins are not big enough to hold what I would bring just in case.... Maybe I won't take the husband... That leaves more room! Just kidding...

See you soon...
14 days til I leave 16 til the cruise!

As much as I would love to scrapbook on a cruise I'd rather play and scrapbook when I get home.
