In one short month, we'll be leaving on our "Life after work" Adventure trip (retirement), a 6 week exploration.

Our route will take us down NY, NJ, Delaware, Maryland, across the Chesapeake bay bridge, Virginia, Outer Banks, Wilmington, Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, Florida coast south to Vero Beach.

Any Dis-ers from along that route who can recommend some scrapbook stores?

Depends on the roads you travel, I am from Maryland, and there is a great one in Millersville, MD.

There is a great store in Wilimington NC called The Scrapbook Nook. I haven't been there since we moved up here last year but I know they had a website that they kept updated quite a bit.

I was also thinking there was one in Myrtle too but I don't remember now.

Hth a wee bit.

There's the Disney Outlet store at the St. Augustine exit of I-95. They sometimes have Disney scrapbook sets (and many other Disney items) for good prices.

Oh Yea! We *will* be in Wilmington and Myrtle! That's what I was looking for - personal recommendations!

Thanks for that link to shops on the road, ASFCurly

The disney outlet definitely goes on the list!

And thanks for the good wishes, believen :)

There is not a "great" one at Myrtle Beach. :sad2: They had a superstore, but it shut down. The one at Barefoot Landing is OK, not big on variety. The one at Broadway at the Beach also shut down. Just a heads up!! ;) Also, near Jacksonville, FL, You will see signs for a Scrapbook superstore off I95. Can not remember the exit, but they have a couple signs before you hit the right exit. It is worth the trip! Not the biggest superstore, but lots of Disney!! And a great coffee shop:)

Hope that helps!!

Ooh, I will be in Jacksonville for a conference in March . . . Does anyone know the name of this store?

I don't think you killed it, Dredik - I think it died a natural death because either there aren't scrapstores along the coast, or Dis scrappers don't live along the coast. Either way, thanks for all your help! I'm plotting the route right now - :)

I know this is an old thread, but I thought I'd add some of the stores in Maryland since there is a Passport Tour starting this month.
Great Scraps in Millersville, MD
Memory Treasures in Fullerton, MD
PhotoScraps in Eldersburg, MD
Scrapbooks & More in Frederick, MD

THANK YOU!

We're going again in September and my FAVORITE in all the world - The Croppe Shoppe On old ST Augustine Road in Jax is closed :(
