Scrapbook Store Downtown Disney

I was not sure where to post about Downtown or shopping. Has anyone been to the scrapbooking store Wonderful World of Memories and is it worth the trip?? We stopped at Downtown Disney before but didn't have much time to really look around. I am looking for cruise theme items since we will be taking our first land/sea vacation next year. Thanks

I like the store, but if you are expecting a huge assortment of scrapbooking stuff you may be disappointed.
They have great books, CDs, and things plus it's connected to the disney art store which I love.
You can also have letters home put through their special Tinkerbell postage meter.

You can also look online for Disney papers and embellishments. I was just looking at www.scrapyourtrip.com and they had Disney cruise paper. Most of my Disney scrapbooking stuff I got online or in a scrapbooking store. The one thing I am going to purchase at DTD is the 2006 book.

I'm a big scrapbooker gal. I bought most of my stuff last year in WDW. At the place you mention(World of Memories), there wasn't much there but I did buy stuff there.

I bought most of my stuff (meaning, scrapbook album, special packages for each theme parks - Epcot, MGM, MK & AK, additional stickers,... that's about it). I think it was well worth the price. OK it's 14.99 each pack but I have some leftovers that I can use for this year's. Some were on special for 7.99 a pack.

In the pack you have:
-border stickers
-2 or 3 pages of stickers (wonderful)
-neat colour pages that match the stickers theme
-paper frames
-1 or 2 vellum pages

That's my experience. OH! I forgot to say where I got this..hehe
It's at DTD... not in the World Wide Sports one...but the shop where you have everything Disney... I don't recall the name of it.

The Disney Cruise Line has it's own exclusive scrapbooking kits and albums. You can buy those onboard in the Mickey's Mates store (I'm assuming that your land/sea vacation is with Disney) I haven't ever seen those at WDW. There is a Florida vacation themed kit that has some cruise-type things in it, that is available at WDW. You can find pretty much all of the kits and accessories in shops all around WDW, I usually make a trip to the DTD store, just as it's all in one place and I can ship it home.

Mouse Gear at Epcot has a pretty good selection of scrapbooking items. I never saw any cruise line things at WDW. I have a friend who took the cruise and got scrpabooking items on the ship.

The store in DTD is nice, but nothing to write home about IMHO. I did get some WDW paper there but that's about it. Most of what they have can be found in any store that sells SB'ing merchandise. A good on-line resource that I've ordered from is mousememories.c**

Disney and SB'ing are a good combination!!
