Scrapbook Shops - Help!

Actually a few shopping questions! I am the organiser for a group of 15 women visiting DIsneyland in September. We ahve two shopping days built in to our trip and on one of them we were hoping to visit an outlet centre and a scrapbook store. We were originally looking at Ontario Mills and their is a Wootens Scrapbook Store right near there but I have read that the Outlets at Orange may be a better mall but I am struggling to find a scrapbook store near there.


Can anyone offer any advice on the malls and/or the scrapbooking stores.

We have the bus for 8 hours but have to build in an hour at the Disney Outlet and Michaels at Orange Fair as well

hmmm. Yes, there is a Wootens right across the street from ontario mills. Its pretty well stocked as I recall and there's a big Joanns there too with lots of scrapbooking stuff. But, Ontario is a pretty long drive from anaheim (minimum 40-45 mins with no real traffic) so I can't imagine making the drive just to do that. The mall itself is pretty nice, its not quite as "outletty" as it used to be. I'm very, very familiar with the ontario area (I've lived here 35 yrs!!!) so please feel free to post any additional questions.

Thanks for the quick reply. We have the bus and driver for 8 hours so what I was initially thinking is:

Pick up from Hotel 9 am.
To Orange Fair Marketplace. Arriving at 10am, departing at 11am.
Then to Ontario Mills. Arriving around noon and departing at 3 pm.
Then to Wooten’s Scrapbook Store at 990 Ontario Mills Dr., Suite G, Ontario, California. Departing here at 4pm, returning to hotel around 5 pm.

But I am not sure that 3 hours will be enough at the mall (I think it will be for me) or if teh Wootens is close enough that those who want to visit can walk over and those that want to can stay at the mall until 4pm. We have to be back at the hotel by 5pm as 7 of the group are doing a sunset cruise and have to depart by 6 to be at Newport Beach by 7 pm (we have hired a minivan for this and the LA County Fair the next day)

well, that timeline should probably work. Three hrs may or may not be sufficient time at the mall depending on what people are interested in doing. Walking to wootens is definitely doable. Its literally right across the street so maybe 10 mins walk from the closest end of the mall through the parking lot. My only concern is the drive back. What day of the week will it be? On a weekend it shouldn't be an issue but on a weekday you need to consider traffic going back into orange county and down to newport.

Have fun at the Fair. Its huge! I've gone almost every year for the last 35 yrs or so Its actually in Pomona and only about a 15 min drive from the ontario mills mall.

Thank so much for the advice - it will be a Saturday so hopefully traffic will be lighter?
