Scrapbook Retreat...I am soo excited.....

I know some people don't like scrappin' anywhere but home, but I do like to go to retreats. I have driven 5 hours (4 x's now) to scrap all weekend at a B & B with 15 or so ladies. This weekend I am going 10 minutes away to a Beach house to scrap all weekend!!

If you haven't done something like this, you have to try it!! It is so much fun to scrap and laugh (all night) with your friends!! You get lots of motivation from others books and even win some prizes!! Fun, Fun, Fun!!

But, my advice, get a pizza box and PLAN your pages BEFORE you go and then you don't have to take as much and you won't be sitting there wasting time wondering what to do next! Organization is the key!!

I hear you scrappinMickey. I love going to my annual scrapbook weekend in March. One of the best parts is some else does the cooking and cleaning for you all weekend.

I do agree if you go pretty organized you can chat alot and make some progress on your pages because your not try to do them from scratch.

Have a great time. Our retreat this year is on a lake in the middle of no where. LOVE IT!!

I have never had the time to even do 1 sb page for myself! I have only made gifts & birthday invites/Christmas cards. But, I have decided I am going to take a scrapbooking weekend with one of my friends, and we are going to stay in my rental cabin...WITHOUT our 2yo's!! I am so excited!!!

Aren't they a blast? I went to my first one in Dec. and believe me I plan to do it again! I unfortunately am not an organized person! But I did do a lot of pages!
