Scrapbook frustration - any ideas??

I bought the red '06 scrapbook on our recent trip to WDW. The last 2 scrapbooks I bought from WDW & DL had the posts that you undo to put the page protector on and the paper slides in the top. Well, the new scrapbook is a 3 ring. The page protectors and the pages are 3 hole punched. The book does not have enough pages and in the past I was able to add pages once I got home. The problem with the new book is that it has these cute pages that are light gray with stars all over them. They are so Disney like and I really want to use them. I didn't even open the book until I got home, or I would have looked to see if there were refill pages to match while I was there. Any suggestions??

I had the same issue, we were there in November and I bought a black leather scrapbook with a silver castle on the front and it is 3 ring. When I ran out of pages I went our local scrapbook store and they had page protectors(a little different than the others) and they had Disney Paper for like .50 a sheet. I used that as my background paper. I would check with your local craft store, AC Moore also has a lot of Disney paper. It worked great, I still have not finished the scrapbook becasue we are going to Disney for 3 days in June and I want to buy a few more things.

I understand your frustration.

I get the scrapbook with the year on it every year.
They never come with enough pages.

This past January I got a regular photo album to put in the pics of our Jan. trip. I knew we'd be going again in May & planned on getting a scrapbook for the May trip.

Now, I know I'll need to look for refill pages - although I don't recall ever seeing any on any on my past trips.

We are going again in 2 weeks. I plan on getting the red scrapbook - I hope they have extra pages.

Please report back and let me know if they do. We are going back to DL in June and I know they have the same album there, so hopefully they would have the refills as well if they have them at WDW.

I can't really answer your question, but I'm leaving for WDW in 7 days ( ) and I would be happy to check for you to see if they have the refills you are talking about. Tell me what store you bought the book from and I will check and pick up a pack for you if you'd like. Let me know!

I bought it at the souvenir store at the BW, but they were selling them everywhere. I know there is a scrapbook store at Downtown Disney. I might try to find the name and give them a call to see if there are any refill. Thank you so much for all the help!!

You can contact WDW merchandising via email and they will gladly help you. They have helped me after I got home and were also very courteous about it. I was most impressed! That is Disney for you!

Just and FYI... TOMORROW (May 1st) Creative Memories is releasing an awesome 12" x 12" Disney scrapbook and a bunch of scrapping accessories to their line..... I'll be buying that set for our Sept/Oct '06 memories!
