Scrapbook Flea Market

Is anyone going to the Second Annual Scrapbook Flea Market in Damascus Md. this year. I can't go this year either but I understand it is going to be even bigger and better then it was last year. The Scrapbook Flea Market will be held on Sunday, October 17th at the Damascus Fire Hall. Eight local scrapbook stores will participate as well as about 50 individual vendors. I have only seen a small portion of what my LSS is taking and I soooo want to go, but my real job is in the way. (Funny how that mortgage payment comes around each month.) Last year the DIS had a scrapers meet. Just wanted you all to know about it, just in case you want to get something going again this year.

I'm in!!! Mike's new store is in Columbia which is about an 1 hour away from Damscus. Give or take. A friend of mine just went and when she walked in gasped for her breath. A worker there asked if she needed to sit down and put her head between her legs.

I haven't been to the new Mikes yet. People have told me it is beautiful, others have told me that they were disappointed. I guess it depends on what you are used to or what type of scrapping supplies you usually buy. I will have to take a trip down there and see for myself.

Love the idea of Mike's plus I just did a map quest and it is actually a little over 2 hours for me! Columbia would make a nice break on the way home!
