Scott Speicher Thank You

Scott Speicher's remains were found in Iraq. Some of you may not have any idea who he is. Scott Speicher was the 1st casulty in the 1st Gulf War and was based in Jacksonville, FL. The past 18 years have been a yo yo for his family because his status has changed so many times from killed to MIA to whatever. His remains were found and he's back on the green green grass of home. Thank you Scott for the sacrifice you made for your country and family.

I am so happy that the family can have closure now. It was always a mystery about his death.

It's hard to believe that was 18 years ago. There's still a lot of conflicting reports re. his fate. Certainly the failure of the search and rescue plan doesn't help with the controversy. At least the family has some closure now.

It is hard to believe that was 18 years ago.

God bless his family. I'm sure his family is glad to know, but suffering all over again. I sure hope they can find peace now.

Puts things in perspective. A young man gives his life so I can have the freedom to travel with my family. I'm a bit ashamed but very grateful and wish for Scott's family to have peace in their hearts...
