robinrs...............well it just goes beyond me I guess. I don't think I will ever truly understand *how* someone could be so coniving, ok in a moment of passion, during an argument, and accident I might understand.............but to meticuluosly plan a heinous murder?? That is the part I don't understand. And in the case of my cousin, and if this is Laci's body, to not only murder them, but dismember their bodies afterwards? That really gets me. One of the worst things that the detectives told our family, is that they think the 4 month old baby was in the car when he did it. You know babies can sense things, and to this day my aunt ( who Thank God, after a long custody battle, won) says she has nightmares and screams alot in her sleep. She is now going to be 4 years old in May. We are very thankful that he didn't harm her.


nativetxn, don't know for certain but that was one of the questions we asked the dectives, why let a whole month go by before arresting him? ( Granted this has been 4 months in the Peterson Case) He explained to us that they had to make sure they had enough evidence against him for an indictment. As they did not want to get enough for an arrest, only to have him walk on a technicality. Maybe they didn't get anything concrete until today?

I am watching MSNBC and that is exactly what they said.
They did not want Scott to walk on a technicality and since they found the bodies, it will be easier to prosecute.

I really don't understand either, why someone would kill someone they loved...just for money! It goes to show you cannot trust anyone...not even your own spouse! I hope Scott had a good time while spending the money....sounds like he will need it to pay for his Lawyer.

The family lost laci at christmas and got her back at easter.... they can finally have a funeral and remember her the way she was... instead of wondering for the rest of their lives what became of her.

As for Scott... the big Rat.... did you hear he was taunting the officers who had him under surveilence? Teasing and waving at them.. being very flippant.. what a jerk...

I am all for the Death Penalty and I wish they could lay some charges on his blind sighted mother and dopey sister-in-law who kept on insisting he was innocent... but you can't go to jail for being an idiot.
I wonder what they have to say for themselves now..?

He won't go "Scott-free" on this one....

Being a Mom, I'm sure I would deny my son wouldn't be capable of killing his pregnant wife without proof. Scott seems to be able to fool everyone close to him. Don't forget her family was 100% behind him until his affair became public.

FOX News had a long discussion about him fitting the profile of a sociopath. Going to play golf when the DNA results could come back at any minute that could be your wife & child, his demeanor, etc....

I bet his former girlfriend (who was innocently dupped by him) is glad he is off the streets for a while. What a close call she had with a bery strange man! Even if he is innocent, he was certainly creepy to date her while his wife was about to deliver his child. He must be very slick to have hidden all traces from the girlfriend.
