Scott & Biff return - A September pre tr

F & W is a dream of mine, too.

I can't wait for Tanya to post some info on F & W.
I have this picture in my mind of a weekend at Disney in the fall where the main activity is eating a drinking I'm wondering about crowd levels during F & W.

Yes, Tanya -- fill us in on Food and Wine -- we will be there in October (the weekend before Scott), and we have never done it.
I have the same picture in my mind, Jen!

There is no cost for the food and wine fest to get in.... you can use snack credits for pretty much all of the food... There will be booths all over the place.... around the WS that is... From sooo many countries it's fabulous... We ate so many dishes it was insane!... I'll be going into alot more detail in my TR in a few days... only 1 chapter between the one I did today and that chapter (yes... I just pimped my TR )

The Pavillions that are there have booths with their best stuff in it... Like Canada has the cheese soup and China has the pot stickers... there are was also Austrailia, south africa, greece and many other places that had booths last year... Towards late July you will start seeing more details as to what countries will have booths...

The Liquor is a diff story as I don't drink... but most booths had at least 1 wine and usually a type of beer too... and usually a specialty drink too...

not at all... just budget what you might want to get ... If I recall there were prices on the lists too... food items were all under 4.00.... Drink items were about 5.00 each

probably not... you'd only have 3 snack credits to work with so wouldn't do ya much good anyways...

yeah it's affordable.... forgot to mention... crowds are huge on weekends... not sure what days you are going... but if weekend be prepared for crowds.. however ours could have been because we went 1st weekend too lol

We went to F&W last year and it was soooooo awesome!!!! We ate something from about every booth over the course of a few days. You need no other food options, just eat from the booths! We did end up spending more than we thought because tho the prices are small they add up fast! If you feel going through my last TR (its the MNSSHP & F&W one in my siggie) I have TONS of pics of the foods from the different booths! I'm still trying to convince KC he wants to go abck, even if just a long weekend, just for F&W!

I too highly recommend grazing at the FW Festival . My DW, Lynsue, and I have been attended many times and are coming back again this year in mid-October. We are DVC members and usually go OOP also. Lots of great food and drinks. Just don't try having a drink from each booth on a hot day.
