Absolutely it is unlikely to be warm. Even during the day just now we are only reaching highs of 18°C (about 64°F). Tonight at 9pm in Edinburgh it will be 14°C (57°F). It can also go a bit lower. Even as a native Scot I tend to take a small blanket for events such as the rugby where I will be sitting for a prolonged period and a pair of gloves are often in my bag. It can be pretty damp and if so the cold can go right through you. I have been known to wear a light pair of leggings or heavier tights under trousers. Make sure you do have a warm jacket with you. I'm sitting in my house just now with my hoodie on. Please feel free to bring some scorching weather with you as long as you remember to leave some with us.
