Scotland-Isle of Lewis

i know there are others here who loved the day on the Isle of Lewis in the Scotland itinerary. Thought I would share this Nat Geo article about the island. Still hoping ABD will consider adding this day back into the trip.

What I heard was that the folks on the Isle of Lewis were not that happy being inundated by tourists on a regular basis. It's a shame, because it's a beautiful place, but if that's how the locals feel, I can understand cutting it, because it's a pretty logistically hard outing. I really did love it there (and bought my favorite hat there) so it's really a shame it got cut. I'm glad I did the trip before they cut it... It would be nice if they added it back, but I don't think it's likely.
