You're thinking of Universal Studios Hollywood. :)

Florida's E.T. isn't going anywhere.

Actually I was told that the employees can't call it mummy. Somebody told me that it is Project: Coin. go figure....

project coin........ Can You say Lord of the Rings Ride....... may be....

How does "coin" denot Lord Of The Rings?

I was trying to figure it out myself why the employee told us coin. I don't know but he might have been pulling our legs on the code name. I guess from the responce of Dark Marauder that employee made it up.

I had a simple reponse here, an answer to the project name. Certainly no harm to anyone. Then along came .... Well, let's just say nevermind.

Anymore I would just stop by from time to time and see how everyone was. But it seems that 's not even possible. This should be a place where someone doesn't lay in wait to start a personal attack. I dispute what someone has written in their profile and find it very inappropriate and juvenile. Others may see someone's true light.

To everyone else that I have perhaps helped or humored, I certainly hope that you and your family enjoy your next visit to Universal. Be safe and be well.

Hey Earl. Hope you had a nice Easter!!! Glad to see you popping in once in a while. Um.....wish it could be more often. I really miss your input.

It's not uncommon for theme park projects to be given code names. Epcot's Future World rumored re-do is called Project: Gemini. Some of these project names have a "huh?" factor in order (I guess) to confuse the public on what the project really is before an official annoucement.

Let's not scare off Earl for giving us some information.

Maybe "coin" as in "flip a coin". As they are having issues on what to call it? Just a shot in the dark.

Usually project names are given to all ride projects. Just for an example, Jimmey Nuetron's was waffles. So the actual "project name" doesn't have to be directly related to it. The name coin could be a synonym for something involved with the title of the ride or it could just be a random name. But either way there are no Lord of the Rings projects underway. Sorry, but maybe eventually something might spark up.

Acording to "skuttlebut" Shrek's project name is/was waffles.

It was a line from the movie....Donkey to Shrek "we can stay up all night swapping manly stories and in the morning......I'm making waffles”.

hahaha....i thought i should not have posted that without checking first. Oh well, yall get the point.
