Scored a walk up ressie @ LeCellier today!

we booked this trip about 60 days ago, so no hope of snagging that elusive leCellier ADR at that point. I tried online a few times anyway, but to no avail. Today we decided to just head over there and ask, on the off chance they had a cancellation. It was noon, BTW. We walked up, asked if they had any availability for a party of 3 any time today and the nice hostess said, "how about right now?" We were thrilled! I had the mushroom filet for lunch and it rocked (as usual)! So, don't be afraid to ask if they have any ADR's available, you might be pleasantly surprised!

We had a 6:40pm dinner ADR for last Friday for 2. Made the res. at the 180 day mark. The week before we left DD decided to join us with DGS, almost 3years and DGD 3 1/2 months. I tried to change the ADR with no luck. The concierge at WL said to try to just show up and they will try to accomodate you. We did just that and our DD and the kids would eat CS if we couldn't get in. We arrived about 6:15 and they were able to seat us right at our ADR time. We were so thankful and the meal was excellent!

Yes, it ALWAYS pays to ask!! Last September we cancelled our Le Cellier ressie: because we wanted to be in MK on our last day, I felt like we were sprinkling pixie dust at the time!!
