[Neapolitan Ice Cream]

Just bought a "Tower of Power" - a gaming platform that Sega brought out before their Saturn, the challenger to the Sony PlayStation. It consisted of the very powerful Sega Genesis and two add-ons, the SegaCD and the 32X. It's a victory for me, as I bought it for $300. Lots right? Not really. The local shop buys them in working order for $350 minimum, so I have a profit right there. And on eBay, decent rigs go for up to $550. Very good rigs go for $650+.

And that's if I WANT to part with it!

That's the one! I was worried I was going to be pushed further. I'd still have made a profit, but a lesser one and it may have no been worth my time

Ohhh, dang! That's a cool get. I've always been enamored with the concept, even though Sega CD & 32X didn't really work out. CD's got some decent games though, but 32X doesn't have much. Still, it's uindeniably cool to have them all together. I assume these are a Genesis/Megadrive and CD model 2 with the 32X? Now, do you have enough outlets to plug it all in?

Better! Passed as full working order and the model is model one, the more expensive one...

Oh, and I have five free games to boot and a free controller.

The SegaCD was interesting, paved the way for FMV based games but sadly the 32X did very little to games and was basically an expensive lacklustre mid-Saturn add-on

The 32X goes better witht eh Model 2's, but no doubt teh Model 1 GEnesis/MD is better. The CD was theoretically better, but not as resilient as the Model 2's. Good that it's all in working order!

Basically, a Mk. 2 CD module is about $30 - $40 cheaper than a Mk. 1; MegaDrive units are about the same.
