DW just got off the phone with CR and we now have a full ressie for 16 DEC 2007 thru 25 Jan 2008, just got the 29th and 30th tonight

Morale for those still looking is to just call each day and even in the evening, It's 6:30 PM EST here.

NOW WE ARE SET!!!!!

KOA eat your heart out ... it did cost us $20 to canc. and modify the KOA ressies, but not having the leave FW is worth it even if we have to change campsites at FW which we have never had to do even with multiple ressies and having the re-check in from one to another.

A couple of weeks ago I canceled our preferred site from Dec 6-16. Of course we found out we can go and I am trying to get them back. I have a full hook up for Dec 6&7 and a preferred from Dec 8-15. I have been calling a few times a day to see about changing the 6&7 to preferred, but nothing yet.

Anyway, glad you got what you were looking for.

Actually, look for the family with the tween rolling her eyes, the 8 year old rolling in dirt and the 6 yr old rolling in fits! No, it is Disney, magic does happen~I'm sure they will be angelic!

Daaang Kim!!! I feel soo bad for you....I know it had to be heartbreaking to have to have to (I know it sounds and looks wierd, 3 "to"s, and 2 "have"s, but thats our proper english for you!)cancel the ressies in the first place....but then it must've been like an extra slap in the face to find out you were in fact able to go after all, but only AFTER you already cancelled the ressie!!!I feel like I should send you a sympathy card or somethin'...why do thine Disney Gods wreak such havock on thee?

Only sort of bummer is even after letting Son #2 know yesterday of our success, just got an e-mail and yesterday A.M. he made ressies at the Holiday Inn at DTD for 29,30,31 and while he got a great deal they are not refundable. OH well we can probably convince him to do P.I. maybe the 29th and/or 30th since we're far past the P.I. thing. Also, figure a 29 YO Naval Avator just back from 5 months overseas should have the $$$ and hopefully we can do something to offset some of the $$$ loss he might suffer in this mis-step.

On a side note since I just don't read or post much outside of this forum, DW just got ressies today at Yak and Yeti for lunch on 12/28/2007 so if you were waiting till early Dec and thinking you might not be able to reserve something till Jan, try now. I really don't have that high of expectations at Y&Y based on the menu I have seen, but we try and eat at every WDW restaurant at least once.
