Scooters in regular staterooms?

I posted a similar question recently but didn't get the info I was looking for. Has anyone been successful at getting an electric scooter (22 inches wide) into the doors of a regular stateroom (23 inches wide)? We will have a Cat 2 room on the ship so we are not worried about where to put it. My dad doesn't need other accomodations, just uses his scooter when traveling distances. ANy help is appreciated.

They don't allow ECV's into the standard staterooms, but they will make arrangements for you to have it onboard. You'll have to get to where it's kept, but you can be done.
