Scooters at Disneyland

Hi! My husband recently had surgery and because of complications can only walk for short distances right now. We are going to DL next week and he would like a scooter. Unfortunately, our hotel is not within walking distance. I imagine we can get one from Disney. But, how quickly do they sell out? Do they open before opening of the park? How early do we need to be there?

Disney ECVs must stay on property (within security), so you might want to rent from a third party that can delivery to your hotel. Disney has a link to Scooter Bug on their ECV info page, but there are many other options. Your hotel might have a preferred vendor.

I generally rent from Select Scooters. I like their scooters better than Disney's.
They are located in the lobby of the Best Western Park Place Inn, right there are the cross walk on Harbor.

Where will you be staying? How far can he walk?

I'd recommend renting a scooter from Deckert Surgical Co. We rented from them a couple of years ago. They delivered it to the hotel and picked it up from the hotel at the end of our stay. They do not have a website.

Looks like many deliver but as I mentioned that wouldn't work for us since we wouldn't be able to get it to the park. I'll look into select scooters.
