Hello...I was wanting to take my grandmother (scooter) and son (wheelchair) to watch the water parade and wishes at the Poly. Is this doable? I know here on our beaches it would be insane to try to get a scooter or wheelchair on beaches due to sand. Anyone know?

Hello, JarrothsMom.

You don't have to be on the beach to have the same closeup view because there is a nice wide sidewalk next to the beach. And there is a sidewalk all the way from the main Poly Cerimonial building to the beach.

This is one of my favorite things to do when I don't accually go into the MK park and I want to watch the Wishes fireworks and Electric Water Pageant with no one standing in front of me.

I was just down at the Poly last week to watch the MK Wishes Fireworks and the Electric Water Pageant from the sidewalk next to the Poly beach.

If you go by the Poly front desk, and ask for a map and location of the hidden speakers near the beach and where would be the place to watch and listen to the MK Fireworks, they will give you directions and a map.

Just confirm the time of the MK Fireworks for that particular night before you go out.

The Electric Water Pageant is usually scheduled for 9 PM every night for the Poly beach.

I usually ride my mobility scooter on the sidewalk next to the beach facing the lake and MK Castle in front of the hidden speakers that are located in the in the greenery behind the sidewalk.

Walkers usually sit on the beach chairs or beach lounge chairs or the swing on the beach.

Here is a map below:

I usually go to the right of the Nanea Volcano pool and hang a right at the beach and sit in front of the Poly building called "Hawaii" on the map.

The beach sidewalk is very wide to park on and for people to walk by.

And the sidewalk is a little bit higher than the sand, so you should have a clear view. And even if some one is standing in front of you on the beach you still have a clear view or I just move over a few feet since most walkers don't usually don't stand on the sidewalk as compared to standing or sitting on the sand.

Here is some info on the Electric Water Pageant below:

I hope the you have a wonderful night and the sky is clear and beautiful.

Sincerely, Ray :)
