Hi everyone. I'm trying to get ready for our Sept trip with my mother. She can only walk shorter distance without pain and she is somewhat unsteady without her cane. So I've rented the larger scooter from Apple scooter for our stay. I know the larger scooter cannot by taken apart and loaded into the back of my SUV. But I got the larger one with the "captain's chair" for comfort and a longer battery life (she weights around 200lbs). I'm thinking now she will also need a wheelchair because we will be driving to resorts for our ADRs. Should I..Switch over to the smaller Go Go scooter that can be taken apart and loaded into the truck? Is it comfortable for riding on all day in the parks? How's the battery life? I really don't have the extra money to also rent a wheelchair for the week. Do the resorts have complimentary wheelchairs for use?

The GoGo is rated to 250 lbs and is easier to drive than the larger ECV. The battery stays charged all day for me. I have used both and like the GoGo better. (Of course, it may be because my personal ECV is a GoGo.)

Just about all of the larger "standard-size" ECVs will come apart and fit in the trunk of a larger car or in the back of an SUV. Just let the vendor know you will need one that comes apart.
