Scooter Rental?

Hi all,

I'm posting looking for some info for a friend. She's a huge klutz (LOL, yes, she's going to be reading this!) and broke her foot...right before their trip to Disneyland! :sad2:

So she's looking for some scooter info. Here's what she told me:

"I want to use Anaheim Medical Supply, but can't find any info on them. They were super nice on the phone.

Next choice would be Universal Mobility (again super nice).

Last choice (because she was kinda rude & the prices were highest) is Deckert. They have a TON of positive reviews online, though...so I'm wondering if I should just go thru them. However, I am annoyed that I might have to wait around until like 11 am for a scooter whreeas the others will guarantee 8 am...or even the night before at no extra cost."

Is there anything you can tell her about these scooter rental companies that will help her make her decision? Has anyone used Anaheim Medical Supply?

I always rent from Deckerts. I have never had an issue with them being rude, and the scooter is always there at the time I request. I have even forgotten to call ahead, called at 9pm and left a message on their answering machine, and they had one to my hotel by 730am (they called at 7am and verified I wanted it.) They usually drop it off the night before if you ask for it before 7am.

They have even offered to come out on Christmas Eve when I had a problem with a scooter not charging properly to replace it. (I told them I could live with it til the 26th!)

If she seriously had a problem with who ever answered the phone, call back and ask to speak to the owner (Rick) and get it straightened out.
 
I agree re: Deckert's being great. They dropped DH's ECV the night beforehand, picked it up the morning after, and only charged us for the full days. I would totally recommend them.
