scooter in store

WILL I be able to be on my scooter and take them into stores to shop at Disney? I am just wondering because if not, how can we go shop and leave it outside? Is there a place to leave it or do we not go into shops? Thanks!

You can bring an ECV into shops, although dome shops are tighter and harder to get around than others. For that reason, some people choose to park it and walk into shop, especially smaller ones.
You can park outside the shops and take your key with you. Just be aware of the location you park - not in a busy traffic path.

Personally speaking, The Emporium and Mouse Gear were the only shops in the parks I felt I could fit through on an ECV, and even then there were sections I didn't dare go through. Then again, I was an inexperienced user, so other people's mileage may very greatly. Resort gift shops seemed to be a bit less densely packed. When I felt I was better off crutching though the shop, I'd ask the nearest CM where to park. As always, everyone's comfort level is different, so adjust your grains of salt accordingly.

I have never had any problem in any WDW store with my ECV.

However, two important points:

1. I have a three-wheel ECV, not a four. A four is terrible in close quarters as they are nowhere near as maneuverable as a three. The Disney rentals are all four-wheel.

2. I am a regular user and comfortable using it, not a novice.

I probably won't attempt to go through anyplace with glass or fragile items! LOL. I am very inexperienced on a scooter so if we can park it outside stores and just take the key I will be fine. Thanks

I used a scooter for the first time last week. I took it into all the shops (including the glass filled Christmas shop) with no problems. It only became an issue when you were trying to get down an area where someone was standing, but I would just ask if I could please pass, and everyone was wonderfully accommodating.

I also had a 3 wheel scooter.

I have been in almost every store in WDW with my scooter the only problem is around some of the checkouts at busy times.
