Scooby Doo Character Meal?

We are going to be in Orlando Feb 12-19, 2011. About a month ago I was looking into Character meals at WDW and US/IOA, and I came across a Scooby Doo Character meal at US I think. Can someone help me find info on this again? Is it at IOA or US? We were hoping to go only to US this time. Are there other character meals besides Scoob at US/IOA?

They have Scooby and Shaggy usually at RPR in The Islands restaurant 1 night a week, we always go when staying there, not sure if they him anywhere else, maybe calling to find out might help. The hotel character is no extra , than going for a normal meal at it.

I would definitely check out the Universal Studios website. I was just on it & found the Scooby Doo meal on there. I would call the restaurant phone number to confirm the days & times Scooby Doo is actually there (thats what I plan to do when we go down next fall!)

I think the character meals with Scooby Doo, Shrek/Fiona, Woody Woodpecker, etc. are at the Universal hotels right outside the parks. So I don't think it would matter if you were going to US or IOA.

I called US guest services because I was wondering the same thing. I was told that now through December they only have the Grinch and friends Breakfast.

Sorry, its not Breakfast, although they might have them at Breakfast, we have been at it for dinner ,and usually a Wed night, why not call the hotels for Character info at them.l 407-503-3463

RPR used to have 3 nights and the other 2 resort had 2 nights a week with characters, but its now 2 at RPR and 1 night at each of the others.

I just called that number and they forwarded me to the hotel concierge. Anyway, the PBH concierge was helpful, but it sounds a little weird. She said Scooby Doo is at both the HRH and RPR on Wednesday nights. I asked her to verify my understanding of what she said - that he was at both hotels at the same time, same night - and she said "yes, you can choose either hotel on Wednesday night to see him". Seems a little weird to have the same character the same night at two of the hotels, but okay. . .

Yeah seems odd to have the same characters the same night.
HRH only has a Sat character meal according to the website, but suppose that can change
