Our DS12 wants science supplies - petri dishes, agar, test tubes, safety goggles, and a microscope for Christmas. Does anyone have any experience with purchasing these .. and was able to find a decent microscope for not too huge of a price tag?
There are plenty of them out there ... but they all seem to have bad reviews. I don't want to spend $50+ and then have it be a piece of junk. Granted, the "good" ones they have at school are hundreds $$, but hoping to find something decent in the $50-$65 range. Perhaps that is not possible?
Are there any teachers or homeschoolers here that regularly purchase from one of the online teacher stores? Any good coupons/codes out there for any of these stores?
