On a scale of 1-10, how's the food? I know the atmosphere will be great, just want a good idea of how the food will be. I can't picture myself eating anything but popcorn in the little cars. :) :)

I would give the food a 5. Before they changed the menu a few years ago it was just "drive in " types of food. Like one was a huge smothered hotdog. But I guess it was too greasy so they spruced it up a little. Unfortunately it isn't consistant and not that great but the atmosphere really make up for it. I would give it s 5 out of 10.

We've always enjoyed lunch there - we get the burgers , onion rings and shakes and they have always been great! I'd give it a 9 out of 10. I just do not understand why anyone would go there expecting a gourmet meal - it is a drive in - to me that equals burgers and Onion rings and shakes :flower:

I loved our lunch at Sci-fi! It's going to be one of the only repeats for our upcoming trip.

Atmosphere~~15 out of 10
Service~~9 out of 10
Food quality~~7.5 out of 10
Chocolate Milkshake~~100 out of 10 :goodvibes

It's a fun place to go on a hot day for a snack (a beer or a milkshake with some fries.) I don't rate it the same way I rate other restaurants. In other words, I wouldn't go there for any kind of real meal!

We enjoyed the burgers, and fries, and great shakes. The kids liked it. We would not hesitate to go again, but there are soooo many restaurants to try.

We have been there 5+ times and never have had a bad meal. Last July I had the Chicken Ceasar salad which was very good! Will be back again this July. Love the atmosphere, nice on a hot July day!

I thought the food was good, well what I could see of it. It was so dark you really couldn't see what you were eating. I'd give the food a 7.

Give the food (burgers, fries, sodas and the grilled chicken with green beans kids meal) an 8, atmosphere a 10+. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The portions of burger and fries were quite large. Even the kids burger was big. DD7 really liked the fact that there was something on the kids menu besides burgers and hot dogs. We'll be back in three weeks!

a 1. Perhaps a 0. Two words: DRIED UP.

I'm glad we tried it because I loved the theme - it's a great idea. They just need to do something about the food. Quick!

The food is good, nothing special. We go for the atmosphere, which we LOVE. We go at least once every trip!

We really enjoyed eating here and will eat there again this coming trip... the decor is really neat and the kids enjoyed eating at their own "table" in front of us. I truely enjoyed my burger! And we had the onion rings which were yummy. And we finished it up with a great dessert. Oh now i'm hungry!

I'd give the food an 8, it's always been great when I've gone.

And the atmosphere gets a 10+, it's such a fun place to get out of the sun and enjoy a nice meal.

Hey Ocean Springs Mom! A mom from Biloxi here!

We really like the Sci Fi. I have had the pasta dish. Very good. At Mardi Gras, the kids had burgers, I had soup and salad (very good), and my DH had fried catfish (excellent!). The kids loved sitting up front and it was one of the only times I actually was able to sit next to my DH during our trip! (Is that a good or bad thing?)

food was good but i really cannot compare it to other resturants like R&C etec. everyone enjoyed their meals, we have eaten there multiple times, so i consider Sci-fi a place we will continue to eat on each trip we make. good food and we have always recieved excellent service.

i do love the atmosphere. i drive my kids crazy by giving the names of almost all of the movies shown on the screen.

I would give it a 10 for getting out of the sun and for it not being loud. I had a buger and fries and I'd give the meal a 7. I would do it again.

Thanks, ya'll. I think a really good burger, onion rings, a great shake would be really neat in this atmosphere. I think we'll try it. We'll have 5 teens who will probably love it. I'll just steer clear of anything gourmet...

How many people can sit in the cars? Will two adults and 3 older teenagers all fit in one car?

Thanks!
