Sci Fi OR '50s Primetime

Which do you like better and why? We are going with our 4 year old and 2 year old, and I think they would like them both! Suggestions?

I LOVE Sci Fi...it's a tradition. We decided to do both on our upcoming trip. An OOP lunch at Sci Fi since the prices are pretty reasonable and a dinner at 50s PTC later that day. I've never tried 50s but I've heard good reviews from others.

The ambiance and theme at Sci Fi are absolutely amazing! I go every trip!!

50'S PT! They have homestyle food, and amazing desserts! Try the meatloaf!

I think the food is better at 50's but we always go to Sci Fi because its so unique. I can get diner type food here at home but I don't have a little car with old black/white sci fi movies playing.

Sometimes 50's can be fun if you get a great CM but that's hit and miss. At Sci-Fi, the movies are always showing (and the food is always mediocre). We are taking our 3 year old grandson for his first trip and we are eating our first lunch at Sci Fi. We are skipping 50's.

My kids definitely like Sci-Fi best because they love sitting in the cars at the "drive-in" and watching movies. I do have to say I like the theming better at Sci-Fi and the food better at 50's Prime Time Cafe.

I like them both. I have been to the Sci-Fi our last two trips, did not enjoy the dinner as much as the lunch. This trip we are going to the Prime Time, which is alot of fun and I like the food better!

I like both but I think the food is better at Primetime. It can also be a blast if you get the right server! (Auntie Claire is a hoot!)

We are sticking with sci fi for a lunch ... I think my kids will like that, but I am upset that we won't be doing 50s PT...however, in its place we booked CP at MK so my kids are psyched about an extra character meal!

I liked 50's the best but DS like the SciFi, the whole trip he kept saying, can we go back and eat in the car again. They are both good.

We are doing both for our upcoming trip. Sci fi for lunch and Prime Time for dinner. We like them both.

We love the atmosphere at Sci Fi, especially with kids. Have never tried 50's PT as DH is not a real fan of the "in your face" type waitstaff they have.

I think that the 4 and 2 year old would appreciate Sci-Fi more because they can see the obvious theme and don't have to understand it more like at 50's!

FYI- I love them both though!!!

We typically always do Sci-Fi for lunch. The kiddos love it...and I have a thing for their onion rings.

We decided to try Prime Time instead our last trip and were disappointed. I think our server was new. She was terribly overwhelmed and was so busy that she didn't really have time to get into the "schtick" - we also had to wait more than 25 minutes for her to take our order, another half hour for the food to come out and when it did - it was cold. It just wasn't good or enjoyable. I would try it again, but don't think I could convince DH to...so it's back to the Sci-Fi we go.

We are doing both also. Sci-Fi for lunch & 50's PT for dinner. I was going to book just 50's PT since we hadn't done that before, however my family said they would be disappointed if we didn't do Sci-Fi again!

Don't forget, you could always just go to Sc-Fi for a little treat - they have wonderful shakes! And then go to 50's PT for dinner.
