Hi, which will be more fun, Sci Fi or 50's Prime Time for me, wife, DD aged 8 & DS aged 6. It will probably be a starter or a dessert at lunchtime as we have the Fantasmic dinner package booked for H&V later.

 Hi Nick,

Have to say that i much prefer 50s prime time cafe to sci fi diner, the atmosphere and general friendly banter at 50s was worth going for :) Sci Fi,we were disappointed with this, it was okay but nothing startling(and i like all things Sci Fi)the menu was very ordinary (burgers, pizza type stuff) but 50s menu was a lot better.

Just my opinion though others will probably dissagree ;) Say Hi to mom from us if you decide to go to 50s Prime Time although we'll probably be there before you:) Hope this helps a little,
Luv Audrey,

Hi

We've been to the Sci-Fi - it was OK - I would go again but it wouldn't be a priority for us.

My kids loved the Sci-fi. We never made to the Prime time as they didn't fancy anything on the menu posted outside - personally I think they were too scared as I'd warned them the waiter/ess would tell them to eat their veggies;)

They're both great - and very different (sorry not much help I know!)

I prefered the food at the 50's prime time and found it more of a place to relax over a meal, where as the Sci-Fi felt more of a fast food restaurant if that makes sense? Again with a great atmosphere though.

We have been to both and the first time we had a great time at prime time only because of the waiter he was such fun he involved everyone we had to make plane noises as he fed people heir veggies that they left he shouted at you to wash your hands it was cool, so we went back another day and it was terrible the waitress didnt play anything everyone just sat in silence. Also I think they use smash eughhhh.

Prime Time is a MUST DO !!

On our visit I was made to wear a bib, to the amusement of the kids. Mum was made to leave the table because she kept putting her elbows on it. No bad manners here. It's amazing how well behaved kids can be when faced with a stern waitress. My daughters are a little older than yours. My eldest was so embarassed when the waitress tried to set up a date to the prom for her with a boy from the next table. Mind you, he went the brightest red I've ever seen. In the end they had to sing "I'm a little teapot" to our tables. If you visit the toilet make sure you note the colour of the soap. If you can't remember you WILL be sent back to wash your hands.

It is great fun for the kids if the parents don't mind being made fun of. You will soon find out how good your table manners are.
