Sci-fi or 50's Prime Time

We have been to Prime Time 3 times and we have never been disappointed. We have had the chicken, pot roast and pot pie. All are good, but if we had to pick one it would be the fried chicken.

We have been to both and we prefer Sci-Fi. The shakes and burgers are really good. Have been several times to 50s. The chicken is the best and alot of it. They also have sandwiches. The server makes alot of difference in the experience. Made a big deal out of our Bday's.

Hello Alabama! I am BamaDisney from Trussville, Al (northeast of Bham). I know Sci Fi gets lots of negative reviews, but our DDs ages 10 and 14 request it every year. We are picky eaters too but if you keep it basic there we have never had a bad experience. Hope you make a good decision.

Prime Time - Ribs, Salad, pot roast are all spectacular. If you want a veggie side instead of what's listed on the menu, just ask. They will always substitute. MUCH better food, IMO.

The people have spoken!

I just made an ADR for 50's PT! :cool1:

that's great to know! I never think about substitutions and I'm definitely a veggie-side dish type of gal!

I have been to both and I must say I prefer Sci Fi. Both have awesome atmospheres though and both were good to me.
I do not eat red meat so I can sympathize with you not eating the greasy burgers. :thumbsup2 Anywho I had the BBQ ribs at Sci Fi and I enjoyed them :) The pasta sounds good though so I would go for either!! The Spinach and Artichoke Dip appetizer is also delicious!

I have been to both and definetly prefer 50's PTC!:thumbsup2 We had lunch at Sci-Fi and wasn't impressed with the food. It was also too dark(maybe so you can't see the food) and the kids didn't understand the kitschy movie bits.:3dglasses The food at 50's PTC was one of our favorite meals all time at WDW.popcorn:: Loved the meatloaf, fried chicken, and pot roast.:goodvibes The kids also loved the hula hooping outside.
