Sci-Fi More people than our ADR

We have an ADR for 10 people at SCI-FI next Tuesday. We just found out that another person will be joining us. I tried to change the ADR but was told I could not because they had us scheduled for one 6 person table/car and one 4 person table/car. I have two questions:

1 - Do you think we can squeeze 11 people into the tables they have assigned to us.

2 - Do you think if I was totally honest with them at the podium they would try to make some table changes.

The cars are pretty "tight" and there are only 2 people to a seat. Unless you have very small children, its not likely that you could fit 3 in a seat. Also, if you need to assist your children, you would mostly like have to sit one child and one adult in each seat.

Sci Fi is one of those places that generally runs behind on seating of ADR's anyway. I would not COUNT on being able to get seated with an extra person but you certainly should try at the podium.

And I would keep calling. The 4 party will be seated in the front two seats of a car and another party of 2 will be seated in the 3rd seat of that second car. So if a 2 party cancels, you may be able to pick up the entire car then.
