Sci-fi is great!

When in Hollywood Studios, be sure to eat at Sci-fi. It's a diner where you sit 4 to a car and watch a drive in movie. The food is hamburgers and chicken. The shakes are great. The area is dark and cool, so it's great on a hot day!

Great! I was actually starting to regret making reservations there, but now I am pretty excited about going!

We have always liked it. Some people find it (and most food at WDW) to be average at best, but for the most part we are not food junkies and don't go to a restaurant for the food itself, but for the total experience. Last time we went, it was one of the restaurants where DD3 ate the most. She got an "official" driver's license and a nice little ice cream sundae. Plus, like you said, it's always cool and dark in there, a plus when it's bright and 100 degrees outside.

Just bring a sweater and if you have a hard time reading the menus in the low light, you can always check out the menus ahead of time on the DIS. It doesn't change much.

This is one of our favorite places! But we go for burgers, fries, and milkshakes! And atmosphere! I think people go in there and order pasta or seafood then give it bad reviews, well, it's a burger and fry kind of place! We love it.
