Sci fi food - is it good?

We were just there for the first time and we really liked it. Of course, the atmosphere was fantastic. We LOVED the onion rings... they were perfect! I had the shrimp pasta (lunch) and it was very good, not great, but good, and way too big. The apple crisp for dessert was sooooo good, too bad I was too full to take more than 3 little bites of it.

It's been 4 years since we've been, but we enjoyed it and will go back on our trip on March. Kids love eating in the car/table. The food did not stand out as great but it wasn't bad either.

This is one place that is on our list every year to a "must go". The atmosphere can't be beat, our kids love it!

The food is "adequate". It's pub/bar food, and a decent example of the genre. Stay away from anything that's trying to be better than pub fare, and you'll be fine.

We have been 3 times on 3 different trips. We think the food is OK not great, it seems to take a long time, each time we have seen the movie loop 2-3 times. The atmosphere is interesting. I agree with the post that the narrow tables can make dining interesting. I think if you are on the DDP that it is a waste of a TS meal on food that is more CS in quality. We took a vote and opted to not return on our next trip.

Yes the food is good! I had the reuben and it was great! the milkshakes were delicious. We are going back in Jan and we have ADR's for lunch so we can have the burgers this time. :thumbsup2

I remember the food being decent, but I didn't like not being able to clearly see what I was eating. We last went in 2003, so maybe the car tables have more lighting now, but eating food that is hidden in shadows is a little precarious. Still, I remember having some nice pork and mashed potatoes.:rotfl:

We really enjoyed our meals (9) there in September. We had been there before and knew to stick to the basics. The one time (years ago) that we stepped out and ordered food other than sandwiches, we were more than disappointed. The one thing that we ordered that was not a sandwich was a steak salad with blue cheese and it was very good. Everyone loved their shakes and burgers.
