Sci Fi flavored sodas?

On the menu it says you can get flavored sodas of 'coke blended with cherry or vanilla flavors'. Do these just taste like regular cherry coke or vanilla coke or is there something different about them?

In my experience, they're a little more sweet and syrupy than canned cherry or vanilla Coke. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing.

I have had it with cherry and I think it is a stronger cherry flavor. Really good, I have it at the Sci Fi and Prime Time.

They're delicious! It's Coke with a flavoring syrup added, so you get more of the cherry flavor and more sweetness (I've never had the vanilla, but assume it's the same). YUM!

They're the original cherry Coke and vanilla Coke, from before those flavors were sold pre-mixed (heck, pre-mixed vanilla Coke has only been the market maybe 10 years at the most--I remember ordering the real kind at diners when I was a kid, and I'm only 31). They're Coca-Cola with cherry or vanilla syrup in them, so the flavoring is much stronger. I think the cherry Coke has maraschino cherries in it also, there's a picture in my dining review.

Nope. Nothing like the premix stuff you buy in a can/bottle. I can't stand "cherry coke". I do however LOVE an occasional coke w/cherry syrup. It's just a fountain coke (which I think tastes much different than the can/bottled version anyway) with grenadine, a cherry flavored syrup. You can order one in just about any restraunt in any town typically if they have a bar. Grenadine is a common (non-alcoholic) ingredient in a lot of cocktails and what is usually added to coke to get a cherry coke. My son always orders one when we eat out, usually to be told they don't have "cherry coke". I often have to explain to the server coke + grenadine = cherry coke and yes he likes it this way. Either they don't know, or think a child wouldn't get something from the bar.

I can't answer regarding the vanilla, but I don't care for those.

I was hoping it was like an old fashioned flavored soda. The only downside is now I have to decide if I want to get the soda or a milkshake!

When I'm there I always get a cherry coke. They are more like the old style and served with a cherry in them. They are more syrup-like and a more intense cherry flavor.....YUMMY!

I love the REAL cherry cokes Sci Fi serves!

To me the difference between them and the canned cherry Coke is like comparing instant ice tea to brewed ice tea. Somewhat the same but oh so much better to have the real thing!
