Sci Fi - few questions

is it weird to have 3 people having a meal? One would be left on their own - right?

how was the meal, what did you have, how do you rate it, would you go again

The 3rd person would be sitting right behind you. It's not that odd. The seats are very close. Most people are watching the show anyway so it's not like most are there to sit and chat. Although you can still chat if you'd like. There are also picnic tables in the back where you can all sit together if you prefer.

Food was good. We'd go again.

It's a favorite of many, more for atmosphere, and while the food isn't amazing, it is good, on par with a really good diner. My family eats here a lot. It's fun! The restaurant itself is a very memorable experience, a childhood favorite of mine and a frequent stop with my niece and nephew.

Last time I ordered a burger I think.

I don't think a party of 3 would be weird.

Or.....the person sitting alone could sit in front, and the the other two right behind. It would be easier for the single person to turn around and chat to the couple rather than the reverse. The single person would be left out more if s/he were behind the couple. Makes sense?

As stated, most are too busy watching the clips so you dont really feel left out. They do have regular tables (facing eachother) within the cars (no im not talking about the picnic tables, those are horrible)...but to be honest, that isnt as fun. its more fun sitting in an actual car.

We love SciFi. The theme is unique and quite fun. Its the one of the quietest restaurants around, cause people are obviously busy watching the clips. As for the food, we always liked it. Loved the onion rings, spinach dip, chicken wings, burgers, and shakes.....oreo shake is to die for!

We go every year.

I had the Grilled Chicken BLT last month. It was very good. I really like that you can substitute fries for their cucumber salad, which I always do. The burgers are good, too. We enjoy the atmosphere and the kids love the shakes.

I agree, i love subbing the cucumber salad for fries too! its quite tasty.

We love this place, and have eaten there on almost every visit to WDW. The first time I went was with my mom & stepdad (party of 3, no ADR), and they sat us at one of the flying saucer picnic tables in the back. We actually quite enjoyed it, even though we weren't in one of the cars. Since the table is round, we could face each other while we ate, but still see the movie screen up front. They put the speakers on the fence wall behind you, so you can still hear what everyone else is hearing.
