Sci Fi Drive In

We had lunch there in February and it was definitely one of our favorite meals all week! We LOVED it!
My DDs shared the kids pizza with apple slices
I had the veggie burgers with cheese and fries, the fries are amazing!
My mom had the 7-bean chil and really liked it, talked about it later that week she liked it so much. She also had a strawberry shake that was SO good!
DH had a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a chocolate shake, he chowed it all and he's a light eater. Really enjoyed it. He loved his shake but had to share it with my two little piggy daughters who really liked it!

My DD5 was especially excited to see the Tom and Jerry cartoon, she's a fan!

We just did lunch there in May even though we read a lot of neg. reports. We enjoyed the lunch. The food was good, and the service was excellent. We will probably go back next year.

I had the chicken sandwich when I ate there and it was really good. My friend and I both ordered the same thing and we both loved it.

We go every trip and were just there last week! We always have the shakes, burgers, reuben and onion rings....they wree ALL great!

Going to have to ditto the people that rec'd the burgers. They're one of our favorite burgers, anyway (not just at WDW.)

Their spinach and artichoke dip is great, too. And, of course, the shakes!

I would only say this, if going for lunch, it's basically counter service food at TS prices. I thought the burgers and shakes were fine, the side of onion rings we got consisted of 5 rings and they werent anything special. The BLT soup is good, but again, everything is very basic. The setting is fun, but I wouldn't use a TS credit here.

The allearsnet menu is the exact same for dinner and lunch. Can anyone confirm this that has been recently?

We were there again last week and enjoyed the movie clips and the food. The only negative I can confirm about the food is that it is pricey for what you get; but that's the way it is at a sit-down meal in WDW.

I thought the shrimp pasta entre' and caramel corn cheesecake were outstanding last August.

I always get a burger, onion rings and a milkshake. Sci-Fi is one of my family's favorites. (I got the ribs once when we went for dinner and I didn't like them. They were tough. We'll stick with lunch.) We also always get the souvenir cups with glow cubes inside. The kids are still drinking from cups here at home that we got years ago.

OOH we love Sci Fi! We always do lunch!! I love the BLT soup, I have had a burger from there that was good, and I love the Chocolate cake dessert with the warm peanut butter in the middle!!

Go for lunch, and go at 11 if you can. It is so nice and peaceful in there when you go early. It is when you go later too, but I love going to the restaurants when they first open.[/QUOTE]


Good to know! I have a lunch ressie for 11:10 am there! And I loooove me a good reuben so I am really looking forward to it!

Thanks Angel - You answered my question....but I would love to get a consensus on this...

I'm a H&V Gal...we can fill up the family good with the buffet, and it's the cheapest TS meal at DHS...

So If I try Sci Fi on our next visit....since you are all raving about burgers & Pizza.....do I "Burn" a TS credit on this meal or pay OOP ? I can save the 'extra TS' for CRT.....
