Sci-Fi Drive In Rrestaurant

My DBF and I are eating there in a week and a half. The last time I ate there I was 12 (I'm turning 29 soon) so I'm excited to go back. Has anybody had the BLT soup? He's really looking forward to that.

BLT soup is nice, I booked a solo lunch because my family wouldn't do any more meals with reservations the lunch was way better than the meals I had there before. Will do a lunch there next year.

Just retuned last night and it was my 2nd highest best food restaurant on my list. 1) The Wave 2) Sci-Fi 3) breakfast @ 1900 4)Coral Reef 5)Cinderella's Royal Table 6) Tutto Itallia 7) 'Ohana 8) Tusker House.

I had the Beef and Blue Salad, the steak was tender and seasoned great and the blue cheese dressing was so good....we will be back!!

Not to hijack the thread, but what didn't you like about CR & TH? Which meal did you have at each? We're going to TH for breakfast & CR for dinner, & have never been to either. To sort of get back on topic, we're also going to Sci-fi for lunch for the 1st time next month.

Everyone else continue on.

So happy I saw this thread...... In all the times we have gone to WDW, we have never tried the Sci Fi Cafe.... But we are planning our next trip and I had already put it down for a lunch.... Can't wait!!!!

It's a tradition for us, when we do DHS lunch is always at Sci-Fi. I never found anything to complain about. I liked the service and the food was good. We also like the 50's Prime Time, which we sacrificed so we could do at the Fantasmic Package at H&V. Next year we are doing 50's Prime Time for dinner!

Checking for different places to eat and thought the Sci-Fi restaurant looked pretty neat to visit. Any comments or suggestions for here?

We've always avoided it due to the reviews, and tried it for the first time this year. It was one of our favorites. My husband and son had the ribs and thought they were great. I had their new shrimp dish and ate every bite. Plenty of shrimp and delicious. The atmosphere was great. We're planning to keep it on next year's lineup.

We had lunch there last week and it was pretty good. It was so quiet in the restaurant and it was a nice break from the usual hustle and bustle. There was four of us so we got our own car. Some cars seat 4 and some seat 6. DH got a kick out of the film clips. We had the burgers and my girls had the kids meal - we finished everything! And the milkshakes were good too - DH thought it was actually ice cream really stirred up because it was so thick. We were in and out within the hour which really helped with our park plans. I didn't eat burgers all week knowing that I was going to have one at Sci-Fi - it did not disappoint. HTH!

I LOVE this place. The food is okay, but the experience is awsome. I love just sitting and watching those black and white movies. We won't be going to Sci-Fi this December. I was the only one voting for going back. The rest of the family wanted to try something different.

Are the shakes included as your beverage on the dining plan? And with kids meals too...or do you have to pay OOP for them?

The shakes are so good that they could be the dessert. Except we order them right away cuz we can't wait any longer, yum!
And the cheeseburgers, very good. We've always been a Prime Time family for years, but have been wandering over here too. Both are good!
