Sci-Fi Diner

I heard the menu just changed at Sci Fi. Has anyone tried it yet? Any thoughts?

We ate here twice last week, both times for lunch. The menu was your basic burgers, chicken sandwiches, steak sandwich, chilli, onion rings, turkey sandwich, shakes, etc. It was very good and we will definitely be going back.

Twice in a week? What time did you have lunch? Did you have ADRs? If not, how long did you have to wait to be seated? I'm asking because I'm thinking about doing an early lunch there next week, and just want to know what to expect. Not sure if we want to pay out of pocket for it, or just use a CS credit for lunch that day.

I would go ahead and make an adr....the amount of ppl has dropped off a lot in the last week, but I would still recommend it for sci-fi.

We ate there last Thursday for lunch(12:40) not much of a line when we arrived, but on the way out we could see dozens of persons waiting to get in.

even though it was not "crowded"(in the check in area) when we arrived, I doubt we would have been seated with AR. I dont think I saw an empty booth.

Oh, oh-it's changed? I hope they have some good offerings when I go there for lunch NEXT WEDNESDAY!

Hope no one minds, but I just had to see it in print-I'm sooo excited!

Definitely recommend an AR. It's one of the few sit down table service restaurants in the park. Plus, it's such a neat theme I think more people are discovering it. When we were there in July with an AR they were turning walk ins away for lunch till after 3PM

It will actually be Sunday, the 28th that we'll be at Sci-Fi. How about you, Simba's Mom? And yes, our lime green mickeys are right here on my desk waiting to be packed!

We also ate there twice last Nov. We did have ADRs. It was crowded both times - I also recommend that you get a ressie.

We'll be there next week too!!! Our first day - Friday, 8/26 for dinner. Can't wait.

I was going to pay out of pocket for this one since we are also eating at Narcoosee's and need two TS for that. Then I realized that I should pay OOP for our character breakfast since that is pay-one-price. So, that's what I'm doing instead.

Have fun all - don't have any lime green. After wearing them for a few years and never seeing anyone, I don't wear them anymore!!
