Sci Fi Diner/how long??

Just made ADR for October for g'parents and 2 grandsons, 7 & 9. Looks like fun....but how long do the movies last? Can you leave at any time or do you watch the whole movie? Sorry, I just couldn't find any information on this.

It's not a whole movie. More like clips and trailers. You can leave whenever. Actually, I think it's about an hour loop of content. It is fun and the food is pretty good.

We had lunch there in August and I think that the loop was about 45 minutes. We saw almost two complete "shows". As a previous poster said, it's a series of clips from various old SF movies.

There isn't a movie. It's a bunch of trailers from old Sci-Fi movies. It's still great fun! If you been there as many times as I have you can quote the movies along with the CMs! Very fun! Since hubby and I are the only ones in our party we always end up at "hitch hikers" in the back of a car.

The loop is about 45 minutes long. You can stay for how length of time you want. We do lunch here and it takes us a little over one loop - we will miss the very "beginning" when we are first there as we're talking with the server and placing our order. But it's never taken us more than an hour which is plenty of time to see one loop.

It's all 50's SciFi trailers (really, really cheesy looking) - and there are a few alien/space-themed cartoons (including a Tom&Jerry one) mixed in. Very fun, especially if you're in the cars - and if you remember real drive ins! They even have those metal speaker boxes on the stands between the cars!

I try to go there every trip (just made my reservations for our December trip).

The movie is a series of clips, trailers and short cartoons, and plays in a loop that lasts about 45 minutes to an hour then starts over again. You can get up and walk around anytime you want. Every time I have been here, the service has been really sloooooooow though.

We just made our December ressies too I wanted to note that we still have drive in's in the south and they are (most of them) a GREAT bargain for a large family movie night out. One place we have is 10.00 per car and they show a double feature on the weekends, as well as once a month they have an all nighter (4 movies).

We like SciFi and have made it part of out annual trips for the past 4-5 years....really fun and the foods not half bad either. We're getting to where we don't all fit in one car though.... They need to have more SUV's and large passenger vans LOL
