Sci-Fi Diner - do young kids love it?

The first time we ate their ODS was 4 and YDS was 1.5 and they both loved it. Next trip ODS was 5 and YDS was 2, and they loved it even more. For our next trip, ODS wants to eat their twice. I wouldn't go that far, but we will definitely be returning. I was really surprised because ODS is easily frightened.

When DS was 6, he was petrified. The movie clips really, really freaked him out, and the fact that the place is so dark added to his anxiety. We couldn't get him to go back in again until this year, when he was 11.

I don't so much love it because the whole point is to be seated in cars, and the car seats only fit 2 people. So, our family of three gets split up; not the end of the world for one meal, but something to keep in mind if you're figuring out seating for young kids.

Loved it when I went for the first time at age 10, and we've gone back every visit since. The food didn't change my life, but the atmosphere is so fun and unique. Will be eating there once again on my 23rd birthday in December
